So you can be a feminist and think that “patriarchy” and “privilege” are steaming piles of horse dung? Most people believe that women are people deserving all the rights and OBLIGATIONS of full people. What turns people off from feminism is the assertion that women where only objects acted upon for most/all of human history.
Dude, I’m not really following you. But here’s a quote from your own blog – “It’s not feminism or even gender feminism that is hateful. It is a small minority of a small minority that are hateful.” … True. That’s kind of my point. You don’t have to agree with everything that every feminist does to believe that women are human beings that should be treated as such, to the same extent as men (ie. to be the definition of a feminist). Some take things to the extreme and go about things the wrong way (though it could be argued that these people could usually be more accurately defined as misandrists). You don’t need to agree with these people to be a feminist. And you shouldn’t let that small minority define your view of such an important movement/ideology.
Another feminist that is uninterested in and dismissive of opposing view points. Typical. You know your right and are only interested in the ideas that support your being correct. Don’t worry this isn’t just a feminist thing. Oppressive religions and tyrannical dictators do the same thing.
Solid work, Andy. I wish I had something more constructive to add, but it mostly just comes down to me agreeing with you in a loud voice. Possibly with swearing.

I would suggest that you read my post “Sharing the Stage”

“Patriarchy” and “Privilege” are language constructs of the bigots.
Gender equality is an important movement. The use of the word “Feminism” is not central to an actual equality movement, it is actually harmful to it.
As for Feminism Objectifying women.

Thank you for commenting, but i won’t be reading any more of your blog. I think I was quite generous in reading as much as I already have.
